How often should I stain my deck?
Most wood decks should be cleaned and re-stained every 2–3 years. Composite decks do not need stain but should be cleaned once a year.
Can you match my existing deck boards?
We match lumber size, species and fasteners as closely as possible. On very old decks an exact match may not exist, so we find the closest option or recommend resurfacing.
Do I need a permit for deck work?
New decks and structural repairs usually need a county permit in Maryland. Board and railing repairs usually do not. We tell you up front and handle the application when one is required.
Do you repair fences and gates?
Yes. We reset or replace posts in concrete, rebuild damaged sections and rehang sagging gates so they latch again.
